Supersized grin!

Molly, Alex and Henry

Henry on the move

Christmas past

Well Christmas was a lot of fun - and a complete whirlwind at the same time. We managed to visit all of our immediate families in North Carolina and even snuck Henry into the Cardiac Care unit to see my grandmother Christmas Day. Henry now has more toys and clothes than we can possibly fit in our house.

Now it is on to 2006 - let there be peace on earth and goodwill among all people!

Henry's Xmas photo spread

Henri

On the move

The major news to report at our house is that Henry has learned to crawl or scoot. Whatever you call it he is on the move. We are getting ready for Christmas with almost all of the shopping done. We will be spending the holidays around our fair state from Alamance county to Forsyth and back again. We even attempted a Christmas photo session at home with mixed results. It will be Henry's first and Santa is sure to bring some special treats! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

Halloween

Alex and Henry dressed up for Halloween. Maybe Henry will get some candy next year instead of a Cabo Chicken sub - only $2.99. They were quite a pair! Buzz and Quizno's Bob!

POUS

We went to the State Fair last week. Saw some crafts, farm animals, pumpkins of unusual size - all in all a great time. It was so much fun our little pumpkin crashed but woke up for the fireworks.

Our State Fair

Henry shows off his Wake Forest spirit!! Go DEACS!

Henry can sit by himself! Posted by Picasa

art happens

Things are good with us - weather is getting cooler finally after a long, hot summer. We have put in a small fall garden - hoping the radishes do well this time. Henry is making more sounds. We even think we got him to say bye-bye the other day after heavy coaxing. Our biggest news is that I (Rachel) got a part time job at an art gallery in Chapel Hill called Tyndall Galleries. It is just my second week, but so far it is really great fun. I just love getting out of the house and talking about something other than being a mom.

september morning

Danny is having exams this week, but otherwise all is well with us. We celebrated Danny's 26th birthday this weekend in lots of different ways. Henry is doing great. Giving us lots of smiles. He has two bottom teeth and working on the two top ones. He is saying MAMAMAMA and not dadadada - mom is pleased. We are frequently stopped and told that he looks like the Quizno's baby. We are looking into getting a modeling deal out of it - he still can't quite say Cabo Chicken, but we keep trying.
