blog update
this whole blog thing is getting pretty competitive - so - as not to be out-blogged ... things are going great for us - Danny is on Spring Break and we just went up to DC to hang out with Papa Dennis - lots of fun - though Henry probaby enjoyed getting misted by a fountain on a windy day more than the National Zoo - oh well - maybe next time!

Fast forward
Now we are already into February and we have had a strange couple of months. My grandmother was sick for ten weeks and in the intensive care unit in Winston-Salem, so we were spending lots of time away from home. She passed away two weeks ago. She was 86 and lived a wonderful life so that is our comfort. We are sad she is gone.
On another note, I have changed jobs and am working about 25 hours a week at Nordstrom in the Fashion Jewelry department which is right up my alley. It is fun for me to get out more and make a bit of money for our little family.
We had a great birthday party for Henry yesterday. It is hard to believe a year has gone by and on the other hand - wow - what a year of change it has been. It was fun to celebrate Henry with our friends and family. We have never had that many kids in our house before! I even made him his own cake and a cake for the crowd! Happy Birthday Henry!!

Christmas past
Well Christmas was a lot of fun - and a complete whirlwind at the same time. We managed to visit all of our immediate families in North Carolina and even snuck Henry into the Cardiac Care unit to see my grandmother Christmas Day. Henry now has more toys and clothes than we can possibly fit in our house.
Now it is on to 2006 - let there be peace on earth and goodwill among all people!
